Networks is an ongoing series of collective exhibitions presented by al markhiya gallery in collaboration with leading galleries and art institutions across the Arab world. Each edition brings together artists from different cities and contexts, building a living map of contemporary Arab creative practice.
For this fourth edition, al markhiya gallery partners with Hafez Gallery, Jeddah. Founded in 2014 by cultural producer and philanthropist Qaswra Hafez, the gallery channels the spirit of Jeddah, a city long shaped by its role as a meeting point between East and West, into its mission to connect diverse cultures through art and to bring Arab artists to global audiences
Together, these thirteen artists illuminate the diversity of contemporary Arab art and the connections that sustain it.
