The exhibition brings Qatari wedding traditions to life through contemporary ceramic works, exploring how heritage continues to inspire artistic practice today.

In collaboration with Dar Hessa for Arts,  Yawm Al-Sa‘ad, a ceramic exhibition reinterprets these objects and moments through the medium of ceramics, creating a dialogue between past and present and celebrating the power of art to bridge memory and modernity.

From the Dazzah (the bride’s trousseau) to the henna night, when the bride is adorned with henna, gold, and traditional attire, and finally the Khillah, the fragrant preparation of the bride’s room, Qatari weddings embody a rich visual and cultural heritage.
