Networks Part 2, A group exhibition in collaboration with Zamalek Art Gallery
Networks is the second in an ongoing series of collective exhibitions organized by al markhiya, in cooperation with a variety of galleries and prominent art institutions in the Arab world.

For this edition of “Networks,” al markhiya gallery is collaborating with Zamalek Art Gallery from Cairo, Egypt. Together, these two dynamic organizations have curated this special showcase, featuring a collection of unique works created by artists from Qatar and the Arab world.  


"Network" presents works by prominent Qatari Visual Artists:  Salman Al-Malek and Ahmed Nouh, exhibiting together with a group of  artists from Zamalek Art Gallery including: Ayman Sadaawy, Farghali Abdel Hafiz, Georg Fikry Ibrahim, Mohamed Sabry, Mostafa Abdel-Moity, Mostafa El-Razzaz, Moustafa Al-Fayoumi, Neamat El-Diwany, Rabab Nemr, Sam Shendi, Sohir El-Adaw,i and Yasmine El-Hazek.

  

Based in Cairo's cosmopolitan neighbourhood of Zamalek, Zamalek Art Gallery has been a hub of modern and contemporary Egyptian art for over 20 years.

 

al markhiya gallery will continue to expand on this contemporary participatory platform in in the coming years, establishing other collaborations with many friendly galleries throughout the Arab world.
