This interactive workshop is a unique sensory experience that invites participants to move beyond simply viewing art, and invites you to listen to light, touch silence, and smell color. This will be led by Palestinian artist Reem Alaskari, a visual artist with a rich background in illustration, education, and art development.
Vision: Art is not limited to paintings hanging on the walls — it can be found in the rough texture of wood, in how light reflects off walls, in the steps of passersby, or the scent that lingers in a space.
We want participants to become more aware of these details — to discover that beauty can be found in the simplest of things, and how noticing what’s “ordinary” can open up new doors to feeling, awareness, and creativity.
Idea:
- Transform written words into an abstract art board using colors.
- The goal of the exercise is to connect participants’ emotions to words through color and abstraction.
