Titled “The Land Carries Memory” brings together the practices of Yousef Ahmad and Fatma Al Shebani, two leading figures in Qatar’s contemporary art scene. The exhibition explores how memory, material, and innovation converge in the language of modern Arab abstraction. From Ahmed’s handmade papers imbued with desert pigment to Al-Shebani’s sculptural and geometric forms, both artists transform heritage into a living script one that continues to evolve through dialogue, experimentation, and the desert’s enduring resonance.
