Meshail Faisal Kuwait, b. 1991

Meshail Faisal is a Kuwaiti artist who was born and raised in Kuwait. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Earth Sciences and Environment from the Faculty of Science at Kuwait University. Alongside her academic background, Meshail pursued her passion for the arts through numerous courses in painting and sculpture, further honing her creative expression.
Since 2010, Meshail has actively developed her artistic career, participating in a wide range of exhibitions both locally and internationally. Her work has been showcased in prominent venues such as the Museum of Modern Art Kuwait, Gallery Tilal, Den Gallery, and the National Library of Kuwait. She has also taken part in cultural festivals and group exhibitions, including the Al Qurain Cultural Festival, Spring Festival, Hala February Festival, and the World Festival of Youth and Students in Russia.
Her artistic journey reflects a commitment to engaging with contemporary cultural dialogues while remaining rooted in her Kuwaiti heritage. Meshail continues to live and work in Kuwait, contributing to the local and regional art scene with her dynamic and evolving practice.
