Hassan Manasrah Jordan, b. 1980

Hassan Manasrah, born in 1980, is a Palestinian Jordanian visual artist, cartoonist, and storyteller known for his impactful work, his art showcased in exhibitions across the Arab world and beyond. He was the assistant art director for the international animated series Pink Panther & Pals and has published nearly 30 books, earning numerous accolades in children's literature.
 
Manasrah has received the Etisalat Award for Arabic Children's Literature three times, the Mahmoud Kahil Award, and an Emmy and Shorty Award for the short film Diary of a Doctor in the Emergency Room. In 2020, he was nominated for the Hans Andersen Award and recognized in prestigious lists like the White Raven and IBBY Palestine. He also was a jury member for the Etisalat Children Literature Award 2024 and the Al Sharjah Children’s Books Illustration Award 2020.
