Mohammad Al-Wahibi studied at the Damascus College of Fine Arts where he began working in engraving and printmaking. This multi-stepped process with specific tools, machines, chemicals, ink and paper was an uncommon medium at the time for artists in Syria. After a long career and continual displacement from one refugee camp to another, he passed away shortly after arriving to Berlin in 2015.
